Fall Family Day

THIS SESSION IS FULL!
Join us for a morning of engaging activities for the whole family. Kiddos and families have the option to choose from several different studio art stations and can spend time exploring any or all areas! There will also be facepainting, games and snacks. Teaching Artists from Smith College will facilitate and support participants throughout the event. All materials will be provided.
* We request that parents stay in the building and participate alongside their children.

About the event:Young Artists Studio is a series of events at the Northampton Center for the Arts being offered in collaboration with the Teaching Artists Program (TAP) at Smith College through the Jandon Center Education Initiative. TAP is a new initiative where Smith College students teach visual arts in community-based and school contexts with mentorship and guidance from dedicated art educators. The next Young Artists Studio event at NCFA will take place in Spring 2025.

Art making events for kids of all ages
Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5-7 PM (during Arts Night Out Northampton)
Cost: Free!
Join us for an evening of engaging activities for young visual artists of all ages. Kiddos have the option to choose from four different studio stations–Experiment with Watercolor, Make your own Mola: Folk Art from Panama, the Tinker Station and Comic Strips––and can spend time exploring any or all four areas! Teaching Artists from Smith College will facilitate and support participants throughout the event. Materials and snacks will be provided.
