ArtPlay, the Center’s unique vacation arts program, encourages kids ages 6-12 to think of themselves as fundamentally creative beings with a fun, interactive, interdisciplinary approach. The program connects youth to local teaching artists and provides space and structure for youth-initiated projects, performances, and exhibitions. Kids will have the chance to experiment with dance, music, drama, visual arts, collaborative play, and more!

Fee: $300-$375 sliding scale. Payments on the upper end of the scale help support our commitment to sliding scale rates, as well as our low teacher/participant ratio. Financial aid is available through our Community Fund. In order to offer individual attention, each session is limited to 15 participants.

Summer Vacation ArtPlay! June 23-August 1 , 9:00am-4:00pm (no ArtPlay on July 4)

One week sessions of ArtPlay are held during February and April school vacations from 10:00am-4:00pm. Summer ArtPlay runs in six one-week sessions in June, July, and August from 9:00am-4:00pm daily.

Registration for February 2025 opens November 15, 2024. Registration for all other 2025 sessions will open January 1, 2025. To register, email us at programs@nohoarts.org or call the Center at (413) 584-7327. Please include your name, address, and telephone contact plus the name and age of the participant. Children may be registered for one or two weeks of Summer ArtPlay; they may attend additional weeks only if spots are not full by May 15.
