The Sacred Harp, continuously in print since 1844, is the backbone of one of this country's oldest, most vital, and soul-stirring musical traditions. You have to sing it to believe it! The convention is free, and beginners are welcome! We'll have books available to borrow. Come and go as you please!

Sacred Harp is a shape note singing tradition in four-part harmony with a long and rich history in Northampton. There is no rehearsal and no performance; we gather to sing together purely for the joy of singing. For more information, visit wmshc.org and our Facebook event page. We hope to see you there!
