CALL FOR ARTISTS!
This April, the Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA) will host an exhibit at 33 Hawley with the theme of “Revelry!” This group show will coincide with our annual fundraising event, Revelry at 33 (see more info below) and we are inviting submissions from local artists.
Who: We invite any visual artist interested in selling work, who also wants to support NCFA.
What: We are looking for one visual art piece from each artist in any medium that is reasonably portable, valued at $500 or less.
When: Submissions are due by March 8, 2024, artists will be notified by March 16, and art will be due at 33 Hawley the last week of March.
Where: This exhibit will be shown in the Split Level Gallery at 33 Hawley.
How: Artists should email 1-3 hi-res jpg images labeled firstname_lastname_name-of-the-work.jpg to gallery@nohoarts.org. Images should be of actual artwork you are willing to exhibit and sell – all artwork displayed in this exhibit will be for sale, and sales will be split 50/50 between the artist and NCFA, as part of our Revelry at 33 fundraiser.
About the Northampton Center for the Arts and Revelry at 33:
The Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides affordable space for artists, performers, and educators, and offers programming dedicated to arts education, multidisciplinary collaborations, and community connections, has been serving Northampton and the Connecticut River Valley for almost 40 years! To ensure we can keep that track record going, we are thrilled to be hosting our third annual fundraising event for the evening of Saturday, April 27 called Revelry at 33, so named because it’s happening in the beautiful lobby and Flex Space at 33 Hawley, the arts center we are proud to call home. Join us for hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a silent auction and art sale, live music, a chance to meet some of the talented artists who work with NCFA, and of course, dancing! Please join us to eat, drink, and be merry in celebration of our local arts scene.
