Revelry Call For Artists - CLOSED

CALL FOR ARTISTS!

The Northampton Center for the Arts (NCFA) invites local artists to showcase their talent in our fourth annual Revelry at 33 fundraising event, which will take place in April. This year’s celebration will take place at our beautifully renovated venue, 33 Hawley Street. We are looking for submissions from local artists to participate in a group exhibition that will coincide with this special fundraising event. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your work featured in a vibrant community celebration while supporting the arts!

WHO: Are you a local visual artist interested in selling your work and supporting NCFA?

WHAT: We are looking for one 2D visual art piece in any medium that reflects the theme of this year’s Revelry at 33 event: There’s No place Like Home. Artwork should be reasonably portable and valued at $500 or less.

WHEN: Submissions are due by Friday, February 28, 2025! Artists will be notified by March 8th. If selected, prepare to deliver your artwork ready to hang to 33 Hawley between March 26th and 29th.

WHERE: This exhibit will be shown in the Split Level Gallery at 33 Hawley.

HOW: Artists must fill out the Google Form and submit images via the form or by emailing gallery@nohoarts.org.

Submissions must include 1-3 hi-resolution jpg images (1200 pixels minimum) for review labeled firstname_lastname_name-of-the-work.jpg. Images should be of actual artwork you are willing to exhibit and sell – all artwork displayed in this exhibit will be for sale, and sales will be split 50/50 between the artist and NCFA, as part of our Revelry at 33 fundraiser.

Please don't label images in the body of the email. The actual image files need to be named so that we can sort them easily. If they're on your computer, you can double-click (or right-click) on the image, and the option to rename it should pop up. If they're on a device, you may need to export them to files to rename them. Here is a YouTube tutorial if you need a visual aid.

More Information:

Artists will be notified by March 8th. If selected, please prepare to deliver your artwork, ready to hang, to 33 Hawley between March 26th and March 29th.
