The best way I can describe myself as an artist is as a seeker. I take pictures of things you see every day and strive to make them look new and different. My purpose of my work is to have the viewer see art in everything. Artistic desire and expression have always been part of me, and the main way I express my artistic vision is through photography and mix media paintings. I use iPhone X to take pictures and the subject matter for many of my photographs consist of picture in nature and or of objects and structures. I am very interested in capturing pictures which have textures, and bold colors. This same principle applies to my paintings and mix media work. Many of my paintings have bold colors intermixed with collage shapes and sometimes my photography.

As a artist I have actively gone out into my community of Western Massachusetts, to introduce myself and share my work. I have an Instagram page, robing.photoart , which displays my photography and paintings. I have sold my greeting cards with my photography to the Wisteria Museum in Holyoke, Massachusetts starting in the Fall of 2018. Also in the Fall of 2018 -2020 Freckled Fox in Florence, Massachusetts purchased my greeting cards and displayed and sold my framed prints. Woodstar Cafe, in Northampton, Massachusetts, featured my framed prints in the Spring of 2019. I also participated in Florence Night Out in the summer of 2019 and sold my photographic prints and greeting cards. Here in Western Massachusetts is where I have grown as an artist and found artistic opportunities to share my work.
