Star Nature: The Sun, Moon, and Ascendant in Ancient Astrology
Five SUndays, February 2 - March 2, 2:00-4:30pm
Cost: $175-$250 sliding scale*
Harness the power of your Star Nature in this engaging and creative workshop with Colleen Keough! Explore the deeper layers of astrology and discover its ancient wisdom in Star Nature: The Sun, Moon, and Ascendant in Ancient Astrology, an immersive workshop designed for students eager to dive into the meaning of their birth charts. Your birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born. In our session, we’ll explore the symbolic meanings of your "big three" — the Sun, Moon, and Rising sign — through the lens of Hellenistic astrology. Together, we’ll uncover how the ancients interpreted these key placements to reveal insights into your life’s purpose and archetypal journey. This workshop goes beyond pop-astrology basics, offering profound insights into how these celestial bodies shape our life experience. Star Nature is perfect for astrology beginners as well as enthusiasts looking to deepen their knowledge and put all the puzzle pieces together.
Interpreting the birth chart is a highly creative process. You will learn the basics of chart delineation and how to layer the symbolic meanings of the planets, signs, and houses. You'll leave with fresh insights and a foundational framework to understanding your chart. Towards the end of the workshop, students will have the opportunity to translate the archetypal themes of their astrological charts into visual art through guided exploratory exercises. No formal art experience is required. The visual art component is open-ended and focused on play and experimentation. This class is geared towards adults, but mature teens 16+ are welcome.

Financial aid is available through our Community Fund.
Once you have registered, please email the instructor with your date, time, and location, and year of your birth, (mm/dd/yyyy) so she can cast your chart.
