An eclectic life path led Lauren to make socially conscious AND fun art, including these watercolor pride pets and holiday cookie cards. Lauren has lived in seven states, been educated in theater, physics, and history, and taught herself to paint, sew and build furniture. She has had exhibits in Kentucky, Iowa, and Massachusetts. Her current project, when not distracted by the next shiny thing, is a series on queer daily life as seen on the streets of cities and towns across the country--as seen by her from behind, giving rise to the working title of "Cute Butts and Bad Asses."
