THE NORTHAMPTON ARTISAN FAIR

The Northampton Center for the Arts will hold its annual building-wide Artisan Fair on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 (Small Business Saturday!), from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 33 Hawley. With over 55 talented local artists and artisans selling their work, refreshments and coffee available throughout the day, and live music by local musicians, this fair has quickly become a seasonal favorite! Submissions will be accepted in August 1-31, 2025. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted, and we recommend submitting well before the deadline. The fair is juried for diversity of medium and experience. Please read below for more information, and we look forward to reviewing your submission!

How to Apply:

  • Fill out this online application form

  • Upload three hi-resolution jpeg images via the form (or email them to programs@nohoarts.org); make sure images are labeled as follows: "first-name_last-name_name-of-piece" or "first-name_last-name_number-of-piece" (Example: "Jo_Smith_Art.jpg" or "Jo_Smith_3.jpg"). Instructions are provided below and on the form.

  • Please note that all art must be made locally; please email programs@nohoarts.org if you have questions about this. Artists from the region are welcome to apply, but priority will be given to artists and artisans from Western MA and the Connecticut River Valley.

  • Images must be formatted per the instructions on the form, and applications and images must be received by midnight on Sunday 8/31 to be reviewed. Artists will be notified by September 15th, and must commit and pay by September 30th.

Additional Fair Info:

33 Hawley has excellent lighting, free wifi, access to electrical outlets, nice restrooms with plenty of stalls, and is an accessible space. The Fair will have coffee and snacks available on site, along with live music throughout the day in the main lobby. NCFA will be hosting its annual Art Card Sale during the fair as well.

Artisans will receive a detailed email by November 1 with instructions for unloading and the location of your booth. On the day of the fair the Center will open at 8am. There are ramps for unloading at entrances and a service elevator available. All vendors must be set up by 10am and vehicles should be parked on the side streets (free) so the lot remains open for customers. All vendors must stay set up until 4pm, and at the end of the fair all vendors need to be loaded out by 6pm. There will be staff on site throughout the day for any questions.

Detailed Instructions for Submitting Images:

To submit images of your work, you will have the option to upload images at the bottom of the application form. If you can’t upload your images, you must email 1-3 hi-resolution images of your work to programs@nohoarts.org.

Label images as follows: "first-name_last-name_name-of-piece" or "first-name_last-name_number-of-piece" (Example: "Jo_Smith_Art.jpg" or "Jo_Smith_3.jpg"). Please don't label images in the body of the email or on the photo itself, the actual image files need to be named so that we can sort them easily. If they're on your computer you can double click (or right click) on the image and the option to rename it should pop up. If they're on a device, you may need to export them to files to rename them.
