The Center is located on the third floor of the Sullivan Square building, 17 New South St., Northampton (map & directions).
Sullivan Square is a yellow brick building
on the southwest corner of the intersection of New South St. (Rte. 10) and Main St.
The entrance to Sullivan Square is in the middle of the building, facing New South St. Go through the large glass doors. Once inside, turn right.
Toward the ceiling you'll see a sign for the elevator, which is in a small alcove on the left. Take the elevator to the third floor and follow the
signs to the Center for the Arts.
There is no public parking at the Center itself. It is recommended that you park in the lots or in the parking garage located south of the Main St.
shopping areas and Pulaski Park (see directions above). From the parking lots you can take the staircase (located in the Peter Pan bus depot
parking lot) up to Pulaski Park and walk to the left to reach New South St. Sullivan Square will be straight ahead of you. OR, walk up Conz St.
(which becomes Crafts Ave.) toward Main, and make a left onto Main St. (do not cross Main St.). Walk past City Hall, Pulaski Park, and the Academy
of Music to the corner of Main and New South Sts. Cross New South St. and walk left to the entrance, in the center of Sullivan Square.
Additional parking: At the intersection of New South Street (Rte. 10) and Route 9, turn left and immediately bear left onto West Street (Rte. 66).
Immediately on the left is Forbes Library; Using its driveway, enter the public parking lot behind the library (parking meters do not require coins
after 5 p.m. or on Sundays) OR continue on Route 66, bearing left around the corner beyond Forbes library and use the Smith College parking garage.
It is open free to the public weekday evenings after 5 p.m. and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
