Celebrate the opening day of Sidewalk Sales with a free interactive drawing festival! Northampton Draws invites the public to participate in a variety of family-friendly, drawing-inspired activities from noon until 4 pm. Drawing “stations” are located at the Northampton Center for the Arts, the Dynamite Space at Thornes Marketplace, and the pedestrian area behind Thornes Marketplace.

Northampton Draws encourages people of all ages to explore their creativity through involvement in unique activities such as mural making with tape, drawing with paper mosaics or yarn and devising individualized mark-making tools. It offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside such experienced artists as Carolyn Clayton, Robert Markey, David Shapleigh, Deborah Jane Slavitt, and Michael Townsend.
